Paraty New Moon Yoga Retreat

In the Brazilian Rainforest
with Kimberly Johnson
May 01-04, 2014
Paraty, Rio De Janeiro

The New Moon is a time of setting intentions, pressing the restart button and nestling up to what is really important to you.

And if you’re going to honor the New Moon, you might as well do it in the most beautiful place on earth.

Join me for the New Moon Yoga Retreat in Paraty, and spend 4 days in the lush + sensual Brazilian rainforest, surrounded by waterfalls,  temples, organic gardens, sleepy hammocks by the sea, and a beautiful group of yogis from around the world.

You’ll deepen your yoga practice with restorative classes overlooking the ocean, twice a day.

You’ll be nourished + energized, with delicious vegetarian and Ayurvedic-inspired cuisine.

You’ll allow yourself to unplug from digital demands, as you breath + move to the rhythm of the sun, the moon, and the tide.

You’ll experience the deep-soul renewal that happens when you abandon your daily routine, and simply flow.

If you’ve been yearning to go on a luxurious yoga retreat for years — but haven’t been able to set aside the time, or the money — this 4-day adventure at a rustic rainforest retreat center is wonderful option, at just R$970 (Reals) for a double, Rs 1270 for a single.

And if you’re up for a longer celebration: stay a few extra nights in the town of Paraty or in nearby Rio de Janeiro, and extend your retreat into full week of Brazilian culture, food, music, and dancing.

Your New Moon Yoga Retreat includes:

: 3 nights accommodation in a comfortable shared suite with a private bathroom —
and a panoramic view of the sea and rainforest.
: 2 daily yoga practices — all levels & abilities welcome, including pregnant & post-partum mamas.
: 3 nourishing vegetarian meals each day — local Brazilian recipes, as well as Indian & Ayurvedic-inspired meals — made from organic, local produce.
: Guided walks to nearby waterfalls, breathtaking gardens & temples, and a dried banana factory!
: Daily meditation and chanting instruction with Dharma teachings.

After this retreat, I think of my life as before Brazil and after Brazil.
— Darija Dolkic, Chicago

“I had a wonderful experience both in mindfulness and in deepening my yoga practice, both led inward and outward by Kimberly. She is an amazingly wonderful experienced conscious  guide, slowly unveiling to us the connections  the mind/body/spirit have through the practice of yoga. I thoroughly enjoyed her readings and meditation practice.

Of course, the nature there was rainforest, and this, together with some of the best food I have ever eaten, all grown and created on site and made with loving details, made for a truly remarkable experience.

Waterfalls, raindrops, humming birds, flowers, monkey chatter and the green lush exuberant fertile feelings will find their place inside you. If you can make one of Kimberly Johnson’s retreats, you will gift yourself life as it can be.
